Xbox Forms a New Team to Protect Games
Microsoft’s gaming division Xbox continues to move towards different formations with a new move. Xbox head Sarah Bond has announced that she is creating a new team to work on preserving games and making older games work on future hardware.
Xbox’s new console is on the way
According to a new post shared by Windows Central and published by Bond for Microsoft, this group aims to preserve the existing Xbox game library for future generations. Bond further explains:
“We have established a new team that will be important for Xbox and the gaming industry. This team will protect the games and build on our strong history of providing backwards compatibility to our players. “In this way, the next generation of gamers will have access to the best Xbox game library.”
On the other hand, various comments were made about future hardware plans. With the comments made, we can convey that a new generation console may come to the fore. Finally, according to documents leaked in September, the redesigned, fully digital Xbox Series X console, codenamed ‘Brooklin’, is planned to be released.
