Take-Two Reportedly Will Announce New Mafia Game Soon!

The Mafia series is preparing to maintain its place in the market, having won the hearts of the players. Although the first two games are widely loved, the third game unfortunately cannot meet expectations. However, with new rumors emerging now, we can report that the new game of the series will be announced soon.

 

Rumors come from user Kurakasis

A user named Kurakasis on Twitter claims that Take-Two is preparing to announce a new Mafia game soon. Kurakasis is a name that has previously gained information about new projects by discovering the trademarks of the games. It had previously revealed the titles of games such as “Metro Awakening”, “Indiana Jones and The Great Circle” and “Marvel’s 1943: Rise of Hydra” before the official announcement.

 

A new job posting for the next Mafia game was released last year. In the job posting, it was stated that the game was developed with the Unreal Engine 5 game engine and was in the production phase. Apart from this, it was revealed that the stealth-oriented system in the game has been further developed and the combat system will also be overhauled. So we will be faced with a relatively more advanced version of Mafia 3.

 

On the other hand, Kotaku announced in May 2022 that the new game will take place in Sicily, the birthplace of Mafia, and will be a prequel. It was also reported that it would be about Tommy Angelo years ago in the 1930s.
