By Epic GamesThe holidays are a time for coming together, whether it’s around a family table piled with food, or in a game where you and your friends group up, as a grotesque snowman lures you towards potential doom. It’s time for ho-ho-ho and ho-hoooo-oh-no!
There are several games on the Epic Game Store with holiday events that add some festive cheer to their levels and lore. Let’s play!
Dead by Daylight’s Bone Chill event sweeps the cruel winds of winter into The Fog. With the festive freezing comes decorations to cover Mount Ormond and Autohaven Wreckers Realm, as well as a new Tome full of challenges. Grotesque, semi-melted snowmen fill the games for you to hide in, and both Survivors and Killers can settle their differences with a “snowskull” fight. It’s full of festive unlocks, too. Battle it out from now until January 4, 2024.
Rocket League
Rocket League Frosty Fest is back! Chill out, play LTMs, complete Challenges, earn rewards, and unwrap Golden Gifts until January 3!
Winterfest is here in Fortnite Battle Royale! Pick up 14 free in-game items including two free Outfits!
Season’s Yeetings to everyone! This year, there are some seasonal rewards for players to unlock by completing the festive Seasons Yeetings challenges in the Blunderdome.
Destiny 2
‘Tis the season for holiday fun, Destiny style. Gather ingredients and bake cookies to get seasonal treats. Don the new Legendary Glaive, hop on a merry Sparrow, and look out for snowballs!
Chivalry 2
Sleigh your way through the ultimate medieval battlefield this holiday season! Chivalry 2 is bringing back the annual Chivmas in-game event for all silent knights to enjoy, heralding the return of holiday-themed maps, weapons, and more. You have until Jan. 4, 2024 to hop in and have fun.
The holiday spirit has come to the multiplayer spy thriller. There are presents scattered across the game, and new levels of unique, holiday-themed rewards to grab during the Holiday Rumble. It’s live until January 8th!
Palia
Kilima Village gets flurries of snow during Winterlights, letting players have snowball fights in the cozy sim. There are winter-themed furnishings and decorations as well, and a new area called “Temple of the Gales” that adds puzzles and mysteries for you to solve.
Crime Boss’s Happy Holidays event is a big update. There’s a new winter menu theme, and enemy gangsters will wear snowmen heads. It also adds female heister models, a new mission, deeper tutorials, and exploding vehicles. We only asked for socks in our letter to Santa!
