Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarok Leaving Early Access on April 26
Are you interested in Norse / Viking themed games, dear Oyungezers? What do you think about the games coming out of Spain? So, how are you with the roguelite genre? Or did you like Vampire Survivors? If you are looking for a game that will combine all of these, you have come to the right place.
Developed by Spain-based Noxfall Studios, Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarok is a roguelite – survival game that takes Vikings and Norse mythology as its theme. The game, which was released into early access about 1.5 years ago, is preparing to transition to the full version soon.
The developer of the game, Noxfall Studios, is an independent studio consisting of only 3 developers. They started their journey by developing mobile games in 2016, and they thought it was time to switch to PC and consoles, and their first project for PC was Nordic Ashes. They state that a console version may also come in the future.
It is possible to draw similarities between Nordic Ashes and Vampire Survivors. However, the developer team says that they did not want to make a simple clone, they made their own touch and received positive feedback from game lovers during the early access period.
Indeed, it did not perform badly during the early access period and managed to sell 200,000 copies. Will they be able to maintain this performance after the full version and take it to the next level? We will find out soon. Nordic Ashes is preparing to go full version on April 26. We have added it to our watch list and are looking forward to it.
