The fifth race stop of Formula 1 was the Chinese Grand Prix. In the qualifying rounds held before tomorrow’s race, Red Bull pilot Max Verstappen broke the record and won the pole position. He also achieved Red Bull’s 100th pole position.
The other two pilots who will accompany Max Verstappen in the front row are Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso.

Dutch pilot broke a record
Max Verstappen, who achieved the 37th pole position of his career, achieved the 6th pole position in a row and managed to improve the record he holds in this field. The 26-year-old star pilot will start tomorrow’s race from the front row.
Disappointment from Lewis Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton was unexpectedly eliminated in the first session of qualifying. The 39-year-old pilot, who will start the race from the 18th place, took 2nd place in the sprint race held in the early hours of the morning at TSI today.

Carlos Sainz entered the barriers but…
The Spanish pilot spun and entered the barriers in the second session of qualifying. The front wing of the Ferrari pilot was damaged and the session was stopped with red flags. Ferrari engineers immediately installed a new front wing and declared that there were no other problems with the car. After returning to the track, Carlos Sainz managed to finish the Q2 session in 2nd place and qualified for Q3.
The Spanish pilot finished the Q3 session in 7th place and his teammate Charles Leclerc took 6th place.
McLaren surpasses Ferrari
In qualifying, McLaren managed to catch the Ferrari pilots in the last seconds in the Q3 session. Lando Norris took 4th place, while Piastri took 5th place.
Ferrari pilots found themselves in the 6th and 7th places.
