Horror Adventure Game Devil’s Hideout Awaits Support on Kickstarter
Cosmic Void (Aviv Salinas) is one of my favorite names among independent developers working alone. Dedicated entirely to point’n’click adventure games, Cosmic Void’s games not only provide a wonderful feeling of nostalgia to those who experienced the golden years of the adventure genre, but also make it easier for new players to get acquainted with the genre with their ease of play and creativity.
Corruption Within was an enjoyable horror adventure game developed in 2021. Afterwards, he took us on a futuristic adventure with Blood Nova, and earlier this year, he appeared with Twilight Oracle, an absurd, colorful adventure game that offers a pleasure close to the pleasure we got from Legend of Kyrandia. He said that he started working on a new game right after this game, the name of that game is Devil’s Hideout and the new features of this game depend on the Kickstarter campaign reaching its goal.
Devil’s Hideout is a pure horror adventure, says Cosmic Void. The leading role is a woman named Lauren, who lost her sister. Lauren learns from a medium that her sister is alive, and that a cult is making it look like she is dead. Lauren, who goes to the hospital where her sister was treated before her ‘death’, finds herself in an endless nightmare. Our friend Atticus will also help us in our adventure, and we will try to find our brother by investigating this abandoned hospital and the nearby town.
Donation rewards on Kickstarter include sweet things like having your name published in the game’s credits and having your portrait appear as a pixel drawing in the game.
In the past, when we bought games in TL on Steam, donations on Kickstarter seemed high to us, but now that Steam has switched to dollars, there is no big difference between Kickstarter donations and Kickstarter donations, despite the MENA pricing. That’s why I participate in the games I want to support and play at the lowest level. Keep an eye on Devil’s Hideout.
You can download the demo of Devil’s Hideout from Steam. The demo includes the first part of the game.
