Bad News for Wordle Enthusiasts: Answers Are Beginning to Be Repetitive
One way or another, we all predicted this day would come. Finally, Wordle has officially run out of words it can use. It looks like the game that people (including me) are still playing to the point of pathology will soon appear with old answers. We don’t say so, NY Times editors say so.
One of the best things about Wordle is that it definitely increases your vocabulary. However, New York Time editor Tracy Bennett stated in a Q&A event she recently held on TikTok that Wordle is starting to run out of new 5-letter words that it can use.
According to Bennett’s statements, there is still time for this process, but the NY Times has already started thinking about new solutions. Stating that there are “a little more than 2300” words left, Bennett explained that when these words run out, old words will start to be repeated.
