Activision announced over the weekend that it banned more than 27,000 Call of Duty accounts. It is reported that this move was made with the arrival of improved detection systems and new security updates.

Call of Duty is cleared of cheaters with the new season

As you know, waves of cheaters in online multiplayer games increase in certain periods. Developer teams need to put a stop to this situation, as the new update included in Call of Duty improves security systems. According to the details announced, thousands of users are banned after the multiplayer trial version, which is offered free of charge between April 4 and 8.

The new move follows the launch of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 3 last week. In its statement, Activision states that it detected more than 27,000 accounts over the weekend through its improved detection system and blocked these accounts. The team is also working on new security updates and reports that more ban waves will come.

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 3 include six new core 6v6 multiplayer maps. Four of these have been available since the game’s launch, while two are coming mid-season.
