CD Projekt Is Open to Mobile Versions of Cyberpunk and The Witcher
Cyberpunk and The Witcher series, offered to players by CD Projekt, are very popular with players. The team wants to release new versions of the games and appear on different platforms.
CD Projekt wants to license games on mobile platforms
According to the announced details, CD Projekt plans to license the Cyberpunk and The Witcher brands for use on mobile platforms. During the Q&A session at the fiscal 2023 earnings conference call, “Do you have any big plans for mobile games?” A question is asked. CEO Michal Nowakowski gives the following answer:
“Our answer is quite simple. We have such an idea and are looking for an opportunity through various meetings. We do not have any concrete developments to announce at the moment, but we can say that such a business model is obvious.”
Previously, The Witcher’s mobile spin-off game Monster Slayer was discontinued two years ago. Cyberpunk 2077 has never been a mobile platform issue. But mobile games based on The Witcher have been released to mixed reviews in the past.
