Krafton Removes Denuvo Protection from The Callisto Protocol
A new update has been released for The Callisto Protocol, the horror-themed shooter action game developed by Striking Distance Studios and published by the Krafton team. With this update, Denuvo, the protection technology that brought controversy, has been completely removed from the game.
The Callisto Protocol had optimization issues at launch
The Callisto Protocol was released in December 2022. It took almost a year and a half for Denuvo protection to be removed from this title, which had mixed reviews from players. The game’s last major update was released in April 2023, and a new game mode and more were included as part of the update.
We can state that there were major optimization problems with the game’s release. The production, which experienced many hangups and performance problems, now appears in a more recovered form.
The Callisto Protocol is currently available on the Steam page with a price tag of $ 27. On the other hand, if we look at the Epic Games page, you can buy it for 149 Turkish Liras. The game is also available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
